How to Clone or Duplicate Friend’s Nickname in Chat Room Yahoo Messenger

Long time ago, when I got a conversation in chat room, I face that my exactly nickname, talk without I type a sentence to the chat room. Then I realize that that my clone’s nickname not my username. That nickname belong to others person who copy or duplicate my nickname and chat with clone nickname. How it is work? How to make a clone likes that?

Finally, I found the answer. Username who clone my nickname has no nickname actually or has an empty nickname. I figure out this kind of nickname when I see the list of persons who join in the chat room.

They use a kind of HTML script to make a clone of username. When I try to figure out the script they used to clone, I found some interesting knowledge relating to this script. The script of cloning would not appear when we use unofficial chat client of yahoo messenger such as YahElite, Yam, Yazak and others. Actually, the script is simple and easy to use. Just copy and paste the script to the chat room with a little editing on it.

No Such Interface Supported Error in Y! Intai

If you install Y! Intai, the first step you have to do is having yahoo messenger installed properly in your computer. Why this is must be done? Because Y! Intai is affiliated to the file that used in Yahoo Messenger. If you first try to operate Y! Intai, some time, when you want to see or spy your friend via web cam, an error message “no such interface supported” emerged. Why this is happen?

Y! Intai is designed to work with yahoo messenger dll’s file. The message “no such interface supported” is appears because some of dll file that used by Y! Intai has been changed or removed. It is usually because you using Yahoo Messenger Version 8 or higher. Therefore, the solution of “no such interface supported” error is, remove your Yahoo Messenger Version 8, and install with lower version such as Yahoo Messenger Version 7. When Yahoo Messenger Version 7 gives a notification to upgrade to higher level, just click cancel on it or disobey it.

How to Make ASCII Character to Your Nickname of Yahoo Messenger?

After I write the article which note that ASCII nickname or unique nickname going available in chat room yahoo messenger, I decide to make a tutorial how to make an ASCII nickname. This idea came after I realize not all chatter knew how to make a unique nickname that uses an ASCII nicknames character.

ASCII nicknames character can be used to your yahoo messenger nickname and can be seen in chat room yahoo messenger. If you want to get a unique nickname with ASCII nicknames character on it, you must first know how to change your yahoo messenger nickname. You can change your nickname yahoo messenger by follow a menu trough windows chat room of yahoo messenger. Nevertheless, this is not a better step and I do not recommend you to take this step. The reason is, if you change your nickname via window chat room of yahoo messenger you cannot made an ASCII nicknames.

Make an ASCII Character to Your Unique Nickname

Below is some example of ASCII nickname. For a simple used, you can copy and paste this nickname to your nickname and use this nickname as your nickname. However, I suggest you to make an editing of its.

You can also make this kind of nickname trough Microsoft word via symbols and made a nickname trough Latin 1. If you use another symbol from Latin 2, you nickname doesn’t support with yahoo messenger. Yahoo only supports ASCII that mean Latin 1 and normal keyboard character.


Alternatively, for a better result and the easiest way, you can used an ASCII Generator software to make and ID like that. Here I give you software of ASCII Generator.

Update: Bad News: Unfortunately This trick not working anymore. If implemented this trick in chat room yahoo messenger, the ASCII will got an error. I wrote a short note that this method to create or make ASCII nickname or unique nickname not working anymore in here.

Good News: But don't worry. After a week seeking and finding a new trick how to make ASCII nickname work again, finally I fount the new trick to make ASCII nickname. Sometimes google does not help me. So I found the new trick by my self, but I will share it with you guys, freely. Wait the new trick to create ASCII nickname in chat room in my next Article. This n news trick is more complex than before, so wait until I finished to write the new trick.

Create Public ID Yahoo Messenger Chat with 2 or More Id?

This is not a MultiID that I been review and give to you before. If Multi ID have to change your register of yahoo messenger, Public ID are deferential of your main (primary) ID and do not have to change your yahoo messenger. Multi ID don’t have a limitation, but Public ID have a limitation. The limit of Public ID is 6 six ID.

With Public Id or Alias ID , you will be able to chat with your friend with 7 Id (including primary ID. You can join to room with one of your Public ID but you will never join room with 2 or more Public ID. This is not like Multi ID that can be joined to chat room with 2 or more ID. Public ID can be activated or deactivated depending of your self.

With Public ID you will be able to join to yahoo messenger with one of your Public ID. This mean that you will be able to join to yahoo messenger not only with your primary ID, but also with all of your Public ID can be used to join to yahoo messenger. Of course, your password of all your Public ID has the same to your Primary ID.

You can have a fun thing with using Public ID such as: changing Id frequently when your join chat room, chat with your friend with an ID that not knowing, disguise yourself if you met your friend in chat room and other.

Public ID cannot be used to login to yahoo mail. You must use your primary Id which have a same address with your yahoo mail to login to yahoo mail. You can create Public ID trough this step.

Open your browser and type this link: http://profiles.yahoo.com/username. If you are not logged to yahoo, you must login first to make that link appears. Click Create/ Edit My Profile Then click Create New Public ID. Follow the number of step trough that link. And Type your new Public ID. Save it. Now you have a new Public ID. Create another one until you create 6 Public ID.

You can also follow your yahoo profile without login again by follow a step from your yahoo messenger. To see more instruction creating alias ID / Public ID (click the link).

After you already know an unofficial chat client produces a tattoo, the next step (if you want to make or use a tattoo) is install one of kind of unofficial chat clients. I will give you an example to use a tattoo via YahElite chat client.

YahElite Tattoo

Start your YahElite chat client. Then login to yahoo. When you have being connected and have being joined a room, click a menu task bar. Go to toolKit menu and click Attribute, click ChatScreenAppearance. From here, you will see a new window appear and the window show you many options. Under “Your text is shown” button, check “My Tattoo”. The default tattoo in YahElite is a blue star. You can change this tattoo by change the character of font. Blue star is under “Wingdings 12”. Just click the button that has a text “Wingdings 12” and you can pick a lot of symbols or characters supported by Wingdings 12”. You can have more symbols by change to other font (available: custom, marlett, symbol, Webdings, Wingdings, Wingding 2, and Wingding 3). You can also change the color of your tattoo by click a button color pallet (right of “Your text is shown” button).

Try to use your tattoo by typing a message in chat room. If you want to convinced your tattoo working, login your another username or ID via official yahoo messenger. Thus, joined your username to the same chat room that you been login before. Watch your tattoo working or not.

For others chat clients you can try the tattoo by your self.

Just like Heretic Mic Locker YahLock is Yahoo Chat Room Mic Locker. How to use this Mic Locker is as simple as another Mic Locker. Just enter a chat room, and make sure you use official yahoo messenger chat client not unofficial chat client (Yazak, YHook, YmLite, or else). Then Make sure Voice chat is selected at the mode [ON]. Hit or press the “Lock” Button. Now the Mic Locker will work and you can still hold the mic and type a message.

Deep Mic Locker is yahoo tools microphone chat room locker created by Beast-VB4. Like others mic locker Deep MicLocker has a simply service to lock the Talk button on chat room of Yahoo Messenger.

If you don’t understand how to use this mic locker just push the help green button below the unlock mic button. The Help will tell you that you have to make sure the chat room window is on the top off all your windows and then you can lock the mic by click or push the Lock Mic Red Button. The Secrets of Disappearing Nickname in Yahoo Messenger Chat Room

In my Indonesian blog, so many people want to know how to remove nickname and make nickname disappearing in chat room. When you nickname disappear, its not mean your ID or username also disappear or remove. It is just only your nickname. Your nickname will stand to blank in yahoo messenger list in chat room. You ID will stand in the high or upper level in the list.

How to make such disappeared nickname like that? There three ways to make your nickname blank or not shown. First, you can use a software to do that job. Just find that program on the web. Second, you can remove your nickname by change the language to yahoo main land or Chinese. Then figure out by yourself how to make your nickname disappear via yahoo mainland.

And finally, the easiest way to disappearing your nickname is fill your nickname via your yahoo profile editor page with “&” symbol (without quotes). Amazingly, your nickname will never be shown again in chat room (using official yahoo messenger, not unofficial yahoo messenger).

The weakness of this ways is, if some one who has also empty nickname that create using same method with you, yahoo messenger will detect an duplicate nickname arisen, then yahoo will shown your ID. It’s mean if someone make same empty nickname with you with same method, this method will not working.

To avoid this error, you have to add another “&” symbol to differ with others nickname (like “&&&&”).

You can also use “&” character to make spacing nickname with your nickname. That mean, before your nickname, you will see a blank or empty character. It will make your Id or nickname get higher position in list ID of yahoo messenger chat room.

You can also fix that problem by combine two methods of invisible nickname.
